Information and Services
The Wallace Collection has as a fundamental aim to "safeguard this unique
and varied collection", making it accessible for the present and preserving it
for the future. These duties are key to the daily work of the
curatorial
and
conservation
departments. The
collection is keen to promote the potential that business can offer us with
through our
development
office.
The
Library and
Archives
of the collection are available by appointment and the hire of
photographic
transparencies
of our works of art for reproduction purposes is also
available. We have a
volunteer
programme, which is also where information can be found of any
vacancies
at
present.
We hold a vision
statement and publish an account of our activities in a triennial
report , the latest of which was published in 1998. You can
also read our funding
agreement with the Governments Department of Culture, Media
and Sport. A copy of our 2000-2001 accounts can be found here.
