Educational Activities

The schools department caters for students of all ages, from primary , secondary , tertiary and graduate levels to adults on their own or with their families. If you wish to be notified of events as they are planned you may wish to be placed on our mailing list . We have many events that are designed to encourage the participants to create their own works of art and images of some of these can be seen displayed in our education picture gallery. If there are educational events that you would like to see take place at the collection, please let us know .

Gallery Lectures

Free general guided sessions of the Collection are usually given on each weekday at 1 p.m., also Wednesdays and Saturdays at 11:30 a.m., and Sundays at 3 p.m. These are sometimes replaced by specialist gallery talks and Study Days covering aspects of the Collection in more detail, often given by members of The Wallace Collection staff.
